Mairehau is one of the city’s newer suburbs, bounded by Christchurch’s “green belt” which means a number of properties have rural or semi-rural outlooks onto paddocks and market gardens. The recently constructed QE11 Drive motorway takes traffic from the Northwest of the city out towards the coast, and can be joined from the top end of Philpotts Road or Innes Road, while Marshlands Road is the major route to the North.

Location: Inner North-East Christchurch.
