Spring/Summer Promotion Terms & Conditions
1.0 Promoter
1.1 This promotion is conducted by Cowdy & Co Limited, trading as Cowdy Real Estate, licensed under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (“Cowdy Real Estate”). Property listings under this promotion will be conducted by Tom Rennie and Jacob Wieblitz, licensed salespersons under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.
2.0 Promotion Period
2.1 This promotion starts on 1 September 2026 at 8:00am and ends on 28 February 2027 at 5:00pm (“Promotion Period”).
2.2 To be eligible for the promotion, a listing authority for the property must be signed during the Promotion Period.
3.0 Eligibility
3.1 The promotion is open to property owners aged 18 years and over who own residential property in Canterbury, New Zealand.
3.2 Directors, shareholders, employees and licensed salespersons of Cowdy Real Estate, their immediate family members, and anyone directly involved in administering the promotion are not eligible to participate.
3.3 Cowdy Real Estate reserves the right to verify that a client satisfies the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions prior to issuing the voucher.
4.0 How to Qualify
4.1 To qualify, an eligible person must list their property for sale with Tom Rennie and Jacob Wieblitz. Listings made through, or conducted on behalf of, any other Cowdy Real Estate salesperson are not eligible for this promotion.
4.2 The promotion is limited to one voucher per property listed during the Promotion Period.
4.3 The property listed with Tom Rennie and Jacob Wieblitz must be subject to commission payable at the following rate: 3.95% of the sale price up to $400,000 and 2% thereafter, plus GST.
4.4 The property must also have a minimum marketing fee of $3,000 incl. GST.
4.5 Clients must enter into and comply with Cowdy Real Estate’s standard listing agreement.
5.0 Voucher Conditions
5.1 Clients who qualify for the promotion will receive a $1,000 landscaping voucher, courtesy of Inside Out Design, to be redeemed for landscaping services prior to the property being marketed for sale.
5.2 The voucher is not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for another service.
5.3 The landscaping voucher will be issued to the client electronically upon successful completion and signing of the listing authority and before the property is marketed for sale.
5.4 If the property is not sold by Tom Rennie or Jacob Wieblitz through Cowdy Real Estate, the client will be responsible for payment of the $1,000 voucher.
6.0 Privacy
6.1 Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be collected and held by Cowdy Real Estate and used for the purposes of administering the promotion and arranging and providing the voucher.
6.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Cowdy Real Estate’s Privacy Policy. Clients have the right to request access to, and correction of, their personal information.
6.3 Personal information collected for this promotion will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes unless the client has agreed to receive such communications or its use is otherwise permitted by law.
6.4 Providing personal information for the purposes of this promotion is voluntary; however, Cowdy Real Estate may be unable to administer the promotion or provide the voucher if the information required for those purposes is not provided.
7.0 General
7.1 By participating in the promotion, clients agree to these Terms and Conditions. Cowdy Real Estate reserves the right to cancel or suspend the promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary, subject to applicable New Zealand law.
7.2 This promotional offer cannot be combined with any other ongoing promotions or discounts unless explicitly stated by Cowdy Real Estate.
